I’ve been on a personal voyage, discovering who I am and what I really like. After a few party-filled years spent in London and Ibiza I began looking for deeper connections. I travelled in Thailand, Australia, Bali, Philippines and Hong Kong. I then discovered the power of meditation and the life-enhancing qualities of yoga. In fact, I’m underway in my teacher training, to become a yoga and meditation teacher. I’ll share more of this as I go.

My travels took me to an ecstatic dance group in Brighton. I went along to the first session not knowing exactly what to expect, but found an amazing new world, with energetic, positive people all around me. It was incredible – a real experience of personal transformation. But one of the best bits – and this is vital – was that we drank a cup of cacao at the same time. It was done in a special way – I’ll explain how one time. But I discovered how sampling this carefully prepared, delicious, spiritual drink enhanced the moment. Combined with the dancing, it brought about a vivid, fully lived experience. And that continues through the rest of the day – and into your life.

Cacao has a longer history than mine. It’s been grown in South America and parts of Africa for centuries. That’s why I too spent time finding the right place and the right person to import from. I’ve settled on a fabulous grower from Ecuador who looks after the environment, along with their employees and the product. It’s about ensuring the raw fermented goodness is packed in there good and proper. So now you can enjoy the best drink in the best way. You can enter into the amazing world of cacao – and feel transformed.

The story doesn’t end here, the stars aligned when my parents discovered our Peruvian family (my grandfather’s brother) while searching public archives and with their guidance we’re sourcing a local criollo cacao supplier. I’ll keep you posted!
